DISPATCHER/OFFICE ASSISTANT

Experience:
  • Dispatching: 1 year (Required)

  • Finding loads for their carrier partner trucks so the driver can concentrate on driving.
  • Fill out all necessary paperwork(carrier setup packets, rate sheets, etc,) to save our carriers valuable time. A Dispatch service helps the owner-operators manage many of the back-office aspects of running a trucking company.
  • Do credit checks on shippers/brokers to make sure they have a good payment history.
  • Knowledge of the freight industry is a must.
  • Assigning loads & managing drivers. A great dispatcher will know the driver, how many HOS they have left, their route, their availability, etc.
  • Maintaining motor carrier compliance
  • Managing weather delays/ issues that may arise.
  • Provide customer care.
